Our honest advice? This is one project you should not “DIY”. Aside from the obvious inherent danger in cleaning a roof without the proper safety equipment, there’s also a high risk of damaging your roof in the process.
Inexperienced pressure washers can destroy shingles with even a low pressure wash. Tiles can be damaged or cracked by walking on them. Roof cleaning chemicals can damage plants as well as your roof if applied incorrectly.
